Toomas Asser

Toomas Asser
Toomas Asser (born 14 July 1954 in Jõhvi 08) is an Estonian neurologist.[1]
Asser graduated from Tartu State University's Faculty of Medicine in 1979. From 1996 until 2016, he was the chief of the University of Tartu's Nerve Clinic (Estonian: Tartu Ülikooli närvikliinik). He has been a member of the Estonian Academy of Sciences since 2011.[1]
Since 2018 he is the rector of the University of Tartu.[1]
